In response to the increasing number of positive COVID-19 cases in the state of South Carolina, the South Carolina Institute of Medicine & Public Health (IMPH) is currently operating remotely. IMPH and its employees are aware of the public health implications of the COVID-19 virus. Our team wants to continue our efforts of improving the lives of South Carolinians while keeping our employees and community safe and healthy.  

As new information about COVID-19 emerges, we recommend that South Carolinians look to the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) for continuous updates. The organization’s COVID-19 specific page will be updated frequently as new information about the virus emerges, including information specific to South Carolina. This is a resource to find news, information, testing and care related to COVID-19. We urge all to stay informed and to practice social distancing in order to minimize the effects of this virus in our state.
