Mr. Sean Dogan

Pastor, Long Branch Baptist Church and Director of Community Health, Bon Secours Mercy Health

Richard Sean Dwayne Dogan is a 1998 graduate of Clemson University and attended Shaw School of Divinity, in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is married to the former Satreva Young and to this union they have a beautiful daughter, Ramiah Dogan. 

He has served as Senior Pastor of the Long Branch Baptist Church since 1997. He loves the people and community that he serves.

He has started many programs that have positively affected the local community.  Some of these programs include monthly feeding programs and partnership with Harvest Hope Food Bank to service over 50 families weekly in the Greater Sullivan Community. He has worked diligently to bring the message of Wellness to the community through the “100 Days of Faith, Fitness, and Fellowship.” 

Sean is a Liberty Fellow and has been involved with the following organizations and has volunteered on the following Boards:  United Ministries Board of Directors, United Way of Greenville County Board of Trustees, Upstate American Heart Association Board, Hollingsworth Fund Board of Trustees, Mill Community Ministries Board, Public Education Partner’s Board, St. Anthony’s Catholic School Advisory Board, Senior Action Board of Trustees, Wholespire, the Greenville Symphony Board of Directors, Generations Group Home Board of Directors, LiveWell Greenville, Pendleton Place for Children and Families, Greenville Health Authority, UNCF Upstate, S.H.A.R.E Board of Directors, N.A.A.C.P, the Urban League of the Upstate Capital Campaign for the McClaren Health Institute. He was listed in the Best and Brightest under 35 by Greenville Business Magazine. He is a graduate of The Riley Institute Diversity Leadership Initiative.

Sean served as Interim CEO/President of the Urban League of the Upstate and currently serves as Director of Community Health for Bon Secours Mercy Health.
