Mr. McClellan has over 30 years of senior leadership experience within hospital, health system and health plan operations. Mr. McClellan joined Absolute Total Care as Plan President and CEO in June 2018.  Prior to joining Centene, he served as a Division President at Community Health Systems, where he provided leadership for 36 hospitals with a workforce exceeding 16,000 employees. Mr. McClellan earned an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky, and a master’s in health administration from the University of Kentucky.   

Mr. McClellan and his wife Robin live in Columbia, South Carolina.  They enjoy gardening and spending time on South Carolina’s beautiful beaches.
