Monthly Taskforce Meeting
In September and October, due to the COVID-19 surge, South Carolina task force members were interviewed one-on-one instead of participating in the traditional monthly task force meetings.
During this meeting, participants heard from key perspectives on the challenges faced by the health care workforce during the COVID-19 pandemic with a focus on the January/February 2021 peak in cases, as well as what is needed to achieve workforce stability and resilience moving forward. Toward the end of the meeting, they discussed potential areas of action, what it would take for proposed changes to be effective, and how progress could be measured in small synthesis groups.
