This meeting focused on educating participants on the impact of behavioral health issues on maternal and infant health outcomes, the relationship between behavioral health and access to care, and the importance of early relational health in the overall health of infants. A key focus was to learn about current maternal and child efforts happening at the Medical University of South Carolina and the SC Infant Mental Health Association.
