2025 Health Policy Summit
FOR STATE LEGISLATORS and staff members
IMPH partnered with the South Carolina Office of Rural Health to host the 2025 Health Policy Summit as a part of the signature Health Policy Fellows Program. The summit was held on January 13 at the Pastides Alumni Center from noon to 4 p.m.

About The Program
The summit provided an opportunity for legislators and legislative staff to obtain information on IMPH’s current taskforce: Rural Access to Care for Improving Maternal and Infant Health. Subject matter experts presented current data trends and their impact on health outcomes. Potential health policy initiatives recommended in the taskforce’s action plan were discussed with legislators and legislative staff. If you are a legislator or legislative staff member and would like to follow up about the summit, please contact Amelia Wilks by phone at 803.528.5177, or email at [email protected].
