September 2025 Policy Summit luncheon

IMPH is hosting the September 2025 Policy Summit Luncheon as a part of the signature Health Policy Fellows Program. The summit will be held on September 18, 2025, at the Palmetto Club from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

The summit luncheon will provide an opportunity for legislators and legislative staff to obtain information on The One Big Beautiful Bill Act: What It Means for South Carolina’s Hospitals. Lara Hewitt, Vice President of Workforce & Member Engagement at the South Carolina Hospital Association, will serve as the keynote speaker. January 2025 Health Policy Summit

IMPH partnered with the South Carolina Office of Rural Health to host the 2025 Health Policy Summit as a part of the signature Health Policy Fellows Program. The summit was held on January 13 at the Pastides Alumni Center from noon to 4 p.m.

The summit provided an opportunity for legislators and legislative staff to obtain information on IMPH’s current taskforce: Rural Access to Care for Improving Maternal and Infant Health. Subject matter experts presented current data trends and their impact on health outcomes.
