Mr. Kester Freeman and Dr. Megan Weis authored an article for the Columbia Regional Business Report.  This issue focused on “Health Care:  The Business of Eldercare.”  This article highlights the work of the South Carolina Institute of Medicine and Public Heath by focusing on the establishment of the Long-Term Care Taskforce in 2014, the development of a report, and the ultimate need for a Implementation Leadership Council to proactively prepare South Carolina for the coming “silver tsunami.”
