As IMPH Project Director Ms. Hunt works closely with the Executive Director to achieve the Institute’s mission and vision. Ms. Hunt plans and convenes taskforces, authors taskforce reports, writes grants and supports communications and the Health Policy Fellows Program as needed. Ms. Hunt joined the IMPH team in 2018 and brings in-depth experience in population health, policy, government and communications to the Institute.
Ms. Hunt has been working in health policy since 2011. Ms. Hunt has worked for the US House of Representatives, researched and advocated for health care policy and legislation in DC and worked with an award-winning population health collaborative advising health systems on transitioning from fee-for-service to value-based payment models.
Ms. Hunt has a proven record of developing and deploying communications strategies to increase awareness of public health initiatives; to include health marketing channels, national conferences and cross-collaborative initiatives.
Ms. Hunt earned her Master of Education from Vanderbilt University and her Bachelor of Arts from Winthrop University.
