As Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives at the South Carolina Institute of Medicine and Public Health, Ms. Hunt leads the development and implementation of multi-stakeholder taskforces aimed at improving population health and health care delivery for South Carolinians. Ms. Hunt also leads innovative strategies, fund development, evaluation and research at the Institute. Ms. Hunt joined IMPH in 2018 and brings in-depth experience in population health, policy, government and public affairs to the Institute.
Before joining the South Carolina Institute of Medicine and Public Health, Ms. Hunt worked for the U.S. House of Representatives, researched and advocated for health care policy and legislation in DC and worked with an award-winning population health collaborative advising health systems on transitioning from fee-for-service to value-based payment models.
Ms. Hunt earned her MEd from Vanderbilt University and her BA from Winthrop University.
