Brie Hunt, M.Ed.

Project Director

Ms. Hunt brings in-depth knowledge of population health, policy, government and communications to IMPH. Ms. Hunt plans, convenes and manages taskforces at the Institute. She also authors taskforce reports and leads communications at IMPH. Ms. Hunt has worked for the US House of Representatives, researched and advocated for health care policy and legislation in DC and worked with an award-winning population health collaborative advising health systems on transitioning from fee-for-service to value-based payment models.

Ms. Hunt is an outstanding communicator and collaborator skilled in working with teams and C-Suite leadership. She has a proven record of developing and deploying communications strategies to increase awareness of public health initiatives; to include health marketing channels, national conferences and cross-collaborative initiatives. Ms. Hunt often utilizes her comprehensive project management skills and talent for driving quality and timeliness of deliverables. Her strong communication skills and years of experience working with various internal and external clients and constituents allows her to move with ease among diverse populations.

A graduate of Vanderbilt University with a Master of Education in Leadership and Organizational Performance, Ms. Hunt has enjoyed many years of work, internships and volunteerism in the public health arena on both a national and local level. In her role as Project Director, Ms. Hunt will conduct the ongoing development, implementation and coordination of IMPH taskforces. Additionally, she will author in-depth reports detailing recommendations from each taskforce and will track results of the recommendations.
