Eat Smart Move More SC and the SC Institute of Medicine and Public Health hosted a two-part webinar series featuring the County Health Rankings and Roadmaps in March 2016. This webinar series provides an overview of the program, a summary of the 2016 SC County Health Rankings and how to use them, and a description of the tools and resources available to SC communities to improve health. Part 1: Exploring the Rankings in County Health Rankings & Roadmaps

This webinar discusses:
• Why we rank and why rankings are useful;
• The County Health Rankings model and measures;
• How to dig deeper into South Carolina’s data from the Rankings to understand the health of everyone in your community.
• Connecting County Health Rankings to statewide initiatives and upcoming events in SC

Part 2: Exploring the Roadmaps in County Health Rankings & Roadmaps

This webinar discusses:
• How to use the Rankings to ignite action in your community (with a specific focus on obesity prevention);
• The Roadmaps to Health Action Center tools and resources, including an overview of What Works for Health;
• Roadmaps to Health Coaching; and
• The RWJF Culture of Health Prize (Did you know that Spartanburg, SC, is a 2015 prize winner!?).
• Note: This webinar will include specific examples from communities in SC, as well as an interactive tour of the County Health Rankings & Roadmaps website.
