IMPH Receives Funding to Promote the 2014 County Health Rankings
IMPH recently received funding from the Wisconsin Population Health Institute and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to support the release of the 2014 County Health Rankings. The funds will support distribution and use of the rankings among members of the South Carolina General Assembly as part of IMPH’s Health Policy Fellows Program. This funding augments the ongoing efforts of IMPH to disseminate and provide technical assistance for use of the Rankings to collaborative partners. Since 2011, IMPH has served as the state lead for the release of the annual County Health Rankings release. The County Health Rankings are released in March every year and rank nearly every county within each state based on a series of health outcomes (how healthy we are) and health factors (how healthy we can be).
